Don't make me use my bare hands on you.

I don't think that the North Pole is in Canada. Besides, since the Santa guy is popular with kids and spreads love and cheer and gives presents and such, I am surpised that my fellow Canadians haven't claimed that he is from there.

That's true Franko, though I was being sarcastic that's the point I was trying to make. Some of us know, but I learned that when people get an impression beforehand...that that is what they lean towards. And when they don't agree but their peers do, his or her opinion will change easier. If person A is watching stand-up comedy and I tells person B "this guy's funny," then person will most likely enjoy it. Or..."this person isn't funny and is lame"......you get the idea. Another example, not necessary, but intresting. Psychologists(Y) performed an experiment on other psychologists(X) studying rats. Group A of rats were labeled smart and group B were labeled dumb. As it turned out (X) came to the conclusion that A were smart and B were dumb. Then the (Y) switched the labels and repeated with different groups of (X) as well as the same group. |

I wouldn't say it's easy for me, but I will change my opinion on things from time to time. Most everybody does. |

I used to have an open mind, but my brains kept falling out, so .....
I'm open to changing my opinion when there are concise facts supporting the argument against it. But when an opinion is based on something more subjective (emotions, likes/dislikes), then I usually stick to what I believe. It's always OK if someone else has a different opinion. We just have to agree to disagree sometimes. |
