How young is "too young" or "too old?"

This comes from the "Is Welsby Sexy" thread.

I'm almost 32, and I doubt I'd consider dating anyone under 24 years old, or older than 33.

How about you?

No younger than 18, as for an upper age, i have none!

Well, I'll draw the line eventually...

Hypothetically speaking, I wouldn't go younger than 21. I have met people of all ages with varying degrees of maturity.
I know a girl who is 20 who is far more mature than a woman I know who is 40.

21 is my limit because I don't want to get busted for giving alcohol to a minor.

I'm 22 gonna be 23 in August. I think 20 is reasonable and I'm willing to go up to 30. But, I don't pick who I fall in love with or who I  over.

Racquel Welch is still hot, and she's like 115 years old, isn't she?
Too young is a tough one.
I'd say that if you can't quote the lyrics to Cheap Trick's 'I Want You To Want Me', then you're too young for the Slickhead

As far as too old, I think maybe 10 years older, or 40 right now would be the limit. I think after 10 years, there's just too big a gap. But this is all hypothetical. If Michelle Pfeiffer or Sheryl Crow were miraculously interested I would certainly make an exception.

Very good point.

But in the past, I've been unable to find a common ground with women who are older than me. The ones I've tried to with (both were 4 years older than me) all had that attitude of "I know it all because I'm older than you." And, I think that with women in their early 20's (for the most part...I'm not talking about all of them) are more interested in partying, and crap like that that I have quite frankly outgrown.

I'll  over women of any age. I more than likely wouldnt try to persue anything with a woman outside 24-33.

Theoretically I would say 10 years in either direction.

I do know a couple where the woman is 10 years older then the man and it seems to work just fine.

Of course if I were suddenly to find myself single I guess I should not rule out the possiblitity of finding a "Sugar Daddy" to keep me financially stable :rotfl: (I threw that in because I know someone who has done that. Personally I really think that thier age gap is too much and he is dumb not to see she is only after his money.)

Well, my boyfriend is 15 years older than I! That is pretty much the limit! Although I always said no more than 10 years younger, I don't feel much of an age difference between us! I always thought it was because I was mature for my age,(I did have a child at 17, which forced me to grow up faster) but now I think it's him that is immature!

As far as how young I would go? I never really  ed over anyone younger than me, but my tastes are changing and I wouldn't really mind 4-5 years younger! I think it's because I'm feeling older now! But I know I'm not old, my tastes are just changing, that's all!

I would have to say that 31 is far to old.

Generally speaking, girls tend to mature faster than boys, dating someone older than you is considered somewhat of an accomplishment as generally speaking, women tend to go for older men than younger ones.
