Has anyone heard anything about if and when the special Nemesis collectors edition will be released? If so, do you think it'll have some of the scenes that were deleted from the original cut added back into it, like Wrath of Khan did? Which ones would you like to see added if they were? |

Antodav, I haven't heard too much, but I would like to have the additional 38 minutes or so added back into the film, or at the very least, have them available as deleted scenes. |

Deleted scenes mean nothing to me. The extra 38 scenes are on the regular release as deleted scenes. In the CE, they should put them back into the film. |

Acording to my sources...Nemesis CE will contain a plot and they actually remember that Worf is an ambassador. |

Welsby, I don't own any version of it yet on DVD. BTW, don't you mean 38 minutes, or are there really that many deleted scenes? |

Oh, sorry Fes! 38 minutes. although, i believe there is more than that. The deleted scenes are great. There is one where Picard and Data are talking about choices they made, and the path their lives have taken them on. t's a great scene.

^^^ The one that I have yet to see, and which intrigues me greatly, is where Wesley and Troi are married, Riker is beheaded, Worf is a wuss, and Picard and O'Brien take on an army of 500 Cardassians, and defeat them soundly. I can't wait.

I heard it was coming out for the holiday season. I wonder if it will have more deleted scenes and a better commentary. |

In defense of one of my favorite Trek movies...if you read the novelization, it makes it clear that Worf decided that being an ambassador sucked (I never thought he was particularly suited for that role anyway) and decided to come back to Starfleet. Those lines are in the original script even. It would be nice if they put them back in, for certain, but I'm not sure that there's even film for those. And as for the plot....I think it would be best for me not to say anything there. I seem to recall something about a clone of Jean Luc-Picard launching a coup in the Romulan Empire and trying to take over the Federation...but I guess that might not count as a plot to some

Unless we get a director's cut which might or might not happen, I doubt if we will see anything new. In the novel, there were several segments missing from the movie, including the explanation of Wesley Crusher returning to Starfleet, get promoted to lieutenant and to serve as Riker's new tactical officer onboard the Titan. Your guess is as good as mine. Hey Defiant! Are your "sources" as reliable as Gul Evak's "reliable sources" at O'Brien's circus trial? If so I am afraid you are as reliable as a three dollar coin. 'Nuff said. |

Antodav, thanks for the Worf info. The plot could have been good, but it was the execution and poor development that bugged me...not to mention it was almost a WofKhan story. Digifan2004, I'm not supposed to say...but my source is Gul Evek and O'Brien should have been imprisoned. |
