Missing the old battle-ground, I surmised that someone, somewhere must have felt the same way and started another Board. You saw my first post here, heard my incredulity and excitement in every word I posted that night and witnessed my cautious returns to check on the guard dogs. None so far.

I could actually get to like this place. ;)

Yes, it has it's charms until one errs and is taken out to the woodshed. :news:

St.Com.......hmmm...... an insidious public wasteland of Trekkie riff-raff embroiled in a herd mentality that sometimes is pleasant unless you've shown up at feeding time.

Here there is clarity. Honour. Sanctuary. Free tea cozies.

And occasional gladiator combat in the political forums. :ermm:

Also offers of cheese, help with cooking pasta and offers of support in helping me to tie women up instead of my shoe laces.

What charming people you are. :woohoo:

Well a long time ago in a galaxy far far away i was skimming the web for a trek simm as something to do in my spare time. I found a few and hung around a while but found them broing, un organised and well that has nothing really to do with my story. Sooo anyway, I then went on Google and I think I typed in Star Trek (I don't know Im too tierd at the moment) anyway I typed in whatever it was and got a nice quaint little board with some nice quaint little people in. I hu8ng around for a while and it was quite fun nice and relaxed, kinnda like this place cept smaller.
I had given ST.com a quick glance a while back but I stepped onto the boards for like a split second and found that the collective intelligance was somewhere around a glass of water. I didn't stay long.
Aaaanyway, it went all right untill the host of the board vanished. *Poof* gone. Nobody knew where or why, we tried everything to contact him but to no avail. The site fell to bits but we survived and fled to a new site. Unfortuantly several people were lost in the transfer enever to be seen again.
The site went fine for a while but ti was clear the guy who had put himself in charge was unfit to lead and could not handle it properly, also there was several, one mainly rather idiotic poster who spent the rest of his days typing one word pointless answers and *sniff* he liked Nemesis. Thye head of the board was shooting left right and centre, if you put one hair out of place he would shoot. The rest of the mods weren't any help as very soon they quickly began to disapear.
In the end it came down to me, Mr head mod and Nemesis lover. However one of the old guys who ahd left this board for no reason and with no goodbye or anything came back saying that he had set up his own board and we could sue that if we wanted. It didn't seem to matter that it was partly his fault the board had fallen through. Anyway the head Mod made it offical and the board was closed the only place to go was there with allt he other idiots onto a board that could only last a few months (of idiotic ramblings) top before they would start to leave again and the same would happen.
The I recalled a board I had visited a while back when I tried putting up replys on two at once. Sister Trek. I thinkI saw it in an add at the bottom of the page and gave it a try (it was a late night I was tierd).
I had left Sister Trek several months before hand for two reasons. One I couldn't keep up with two boards constant on Trek and second my brief time there everyone kept asking me if I was someone else.
I can't recall who but I remember afting posting
that you get one million seven hundred seventy one thousand five hundred and sixty one. for the price of one Tribble.
That's assuming one tribble, multiplying with an average litter of ten every twelve hours over a period of three days.
And that's why the tribble got my vote for best Trek pet.
Anyway I came back to have a look see and bide my time while I find a replacment board and well it was under my nose the whole time

True story.
