A big thank you to all who have served and are serving now. I only hope that in the future we don't engage and put servicemen and women in harm's way unless it's absolutely necessary. |

^^^ I've just returned from a Memorial Day memorial service for my uncle (in the New York area). Very moving. Interesting how my family (a mixture of FDR Democrats and Reagan Republicans) can put their political differences aside to honor those who died in war (or as a result of war) without having to make a political statement... |
