What are your favorites? Some of my favorites are: Weekend Update anchor...Norm MacDonald Funniest skit(s): More Cowbell, with Christopher Walken, Land Shark, Toonsis the driving cat, Coneheads...more to come... Funniest moments, When Jesse Jackson was on Weekend Update with Kevin Nealon, When Dana Carvey was doing his (Former) President Bush impersonation, and (Former) President Bush made a cameo. Share your favorites, and I'm sure I'll have more to come. |

 Yeah, I remember the "land shark" one. What a classic. The "Aliens" skit with Sigourney Weaver when they accidentally kill E.T. was absolutely hilarious. One of my all-time favs. Never cared much for Chevy Chase; can't really say why. Some of the skits involving Steve Martin were priceless though, including the "Conspiracy" game show set in the future; and parodies of game shows from the Soviet Union were especially funny. Always liked Bill Murray, Belushi, and Dennis Miller (still watch DM's show, although I hear it's going to be cancelled) and Jane Curtain. A great legacy through the years, though. I used to watch SNL religiously. |

Personally, I liked the Not Ready For Prime Time Players in just about anything they did. Looking back at that eclectic group, I wonder if anyone knew the level of talent of those individuals at the time of their original airing. BTW, one of my favorite skits was the weekly 'hearing for the deaf' (Garrett Morris). |

To this day, when I visit people and knock on the door, if they query as to who is knocking, I answer LAND SHARK. Everyone loves it! One of my favorite segments was when Alec Baldwin was the guest and they did The Handsome Actors School routine in which he showed them things like the fact that a handsome actor never looks at a paper when he signs it, and if the phone rings he always picks it up aggressively and barks orders, etc. |

None of the later casts could match the chemistry of the original Not Ready For Prime Time Players. Gilda Radner doing Rosanne Rosanadanna, Chevy Chase doing the newscast, John Belushi serving up "cheeseburgers and coke, no pepsi" Those were the days. |

Kirstie Alley hosted the show, and was in this skit. Adam Sandler and I believe Kevin Nealon were pepper grinders in this up scale resturant, and Kirstie Alley and her date went to this place..The pepper grinders were a little too willing to please. |

Gilda Radner doing the Emily Litella skit with Jane Curtain's news commentary, and always misunderstanding the topic (i.e, violence on TV became violins on TV). "Never mind ....... " |
