This Friday is another episode of ENT I havn't seen but in working my way through Season 4, I wanted to try and watch them in order. I don't know if that is possible, and I was wondering if I should tape the episode this week or just watch it anyway. Will I be confused since it was the one that aired after the important vulcan arc?

Gdog,

Others can correct me if they like, but I think Daedalus is a stand-alone episode.

Daedulus is the 2nd most boring ep of season 4 IMO

Home was alright. Could have been better, but still a pretty good start to the season. I've heard the same isn't true for the other episode, but I do want to see it soon.

I'm not buying ENT. I'm renting them instead. :)

In Home there are some great scenes with Earth, Vulcan and the Vulcan Landscape.

but the whole T'Pol arranged marriage thing - Errrkkk!

Especially T'Pols Mum, that has to be the worst portrayal of a Vulcan ever

And in Daedelus, all of a sudden theres a back story about one of Archers influemces you've never heard of before, whatever that guys name was that invented the transporter, his 'second dad'

One criticism I have of season 4 is that there is some stuff just thrown in there.

Also with Elizabeth in Terra Prime, I didnt feel as much about her death cos the whole story was too sudden.

I think both these episodes would have been a lot better if there was some setting up of the stories at least a couple of episodes beforehand.

For example, I think the Terra Prime story would have been a whole lot better if T'Pol had gotten pregnant previously, and that half way through season 4 there was a substory where members of Terra prime had kidnapped the embryo from her, then a couple of eps later we see why. Instead of that whole clone thing

Gdog, I would go ahead and watch "Daedulus" if I were you. It is a stand alone episode and any comments in it that refer to other aspects of previous episodes may possibly whet your appetite to see them (or scare you away from it...).

So? Kirk had plenty of these in TOS, and they helped shed light on his academy days, his days as a Lieutenant, and his days on other ships.
