I doubt this will change anything even if Republicans would admit that Bush is losing approval. Bush and this administration has made it clear that they will continue thier agenda regardless of public support or lack thereof. |

Noah, And thank goodness for this. It counters (or balances out) the agendas pushed by the last Democratic administration very well. The checks and balances work, and I am very happy that they do. You'll again have your time in the sun.

Unfortunately, this administration is unaware that their purpose for serving the public is to represent the constituancy. |

^^^ Noah, Was President Clinton representing the constituency when he repeatedly lied under oath? |

Actually he didn't lie. Don't make me explain the whole legal definition thing again. And to answer your question, no. During his trial he represented himself only, not the American people. When he is doing his job of making policy such as vetoing stem cell research he is representing his constituancy. |

Noah, No need to do that. In all sincerity, I responded that way because you wrote:
... a statement that I found to be ludicrous, so I responded in like manner. One must keep you honest, you know.

No, he is representing those who voted for him. Just because you support federally-funded embryonic stem cell research does NOT mean President Bush must do the same. |

Wasn't Bush the first President to ever provide federal funding for embryonic stem cell research? I don't recall Clinton doing that. |

Was it an issue under Clinton? Was the science as developed back then? |
