Good Grief, it's just a movie. It's a movie that is popular, but it's just that. If he is making a statement about something political, I really don't care. I just hope the movie lives up to the hype and is better than Episode 1 and 2.

Well, you won't get any argument from me there.  But the Sith screenplay was written during the Iraq war.

That just means he doesn't have much in the way of ideas and he turned on CNN. Doesn't bother me. I got turned off back during Return of the Jedi and those friggin' Ewoks.

I lasted through them, but lost it when I saw episode I.

Where in the heck did he get the idea to put such a racist character as Jar-Jar Binks on the screen? I didn't see II and have no interest in III as a result.

You don't want to see it just to watch Jedi's whooping butt?

Indeed. I hope whatever Vader did to Kanobi in Star Wars, he does the same thing or maybe even more ruthless to Jar Jar in this film. Please kill that SOB off.

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
Well, if he has people from both sides of the political spectrum unsure about who should be pissed off, he has gotten off on the right foot.

As a liberal-leaning, extreme right-wing conservative-socialist-facist, I'll probably go see the movie.

CP,

Thank goodness. I thought I was going to have to defend the episode. We have others here that are PAID to do that (namely, Swidden and Rose).

I think he had already planned on Jar Jar being played by the Chancellor to introduce the Patriot Ac- I mean emergency powers to create the army of the Republic.

I think I heard somewhere that he is killed in Sith.
