I guess it would be nice to be a plant... although I don't know that I would like to be starved for light. Probably in a garden would be nice. Then again, if I was a bonzied plant it might be painful. I guess the garden idea wouldn't be so desirable, I was just looking for a peaceful life where I wouldn't have struggle. But then life is a struggle. Tired, that I am. Weary, that as well. Old, I feel as so, but I am young. My life as expressed for an infinite concept of universal recreation adopts new paradoxes and a hint at life of glimpses toward the future. Could it be that the dreams that afflict me for the purpose of change, now are the only thing that can keep me calm during my hallucenations? Sorry folks. Just thinking. |

Luthien, Fire wrote "Pot Plant," not potted plant. There is a *huge* difference, as I'm sure Fire is well aware--LOL!

I would have to say a male lion. The one that is in charge of his pride. All I do is eat first and sometimes fight off other males. That would be the life.

How about being reincarnated as a starship Captain--in a mirror universe? Not bad.

If I could choose, I'd like to come back as a pampered house cat, where my humans provide me with soft, warm places to sleep all day and kibble and fresh water always in my bowls. Preferably, though, I would not wish to be put through the rigors of competing in cat shows nor have little children who think it's cute to dress up the family pets in doll clothes. Some occasional fresh catnip would be nice, too. And all that was expected of me would be to welcome my humans home at the end of the workday and purr for them while they stroke my fur. One must be rather specific when stating what you want to come back as -- if you simply say "I want to come back as a cat," you might end up coming back as a fight-scarred alley cat who only gets trash and mice for supper (when you can find your supper). Sometimes the Universe has a sick sense of humor. |

Speak softly, and carry a 57 megaton stick!

Would that be with or without the degredation of your body? You could well be immortal by just putting your brain in a jar. Hopefully your thoughts would keep you good company over the centuries. |
