Yeah, I knew you were not referring to that episode, since his 'speaking up' didn't occur in that episode. The only reason I can accept what Ro did was because of what she saw her grandfather (or was it father?) go through at the hands of the Cardassians, and *then* having to see her lose the one man that seemed to be making a Bajoran difference in her life again.

Nice choice. I cried the first time I saw the end of Preemptive Strike. After Riker leaves, and there is no dialogue (just circular camera work), I was numb for Capt. Picard.

I got what you meant.

Well, If it is something like DS9, i would find it easier to consider it canon, but with something like thenew Titan books, not much chance yet, as there is still the incredibly small possibility that we could see the Titan in a movie of something.

Although, I know the chances of that happening are less than my chances of getting laid Dax.

His finest moment is when he figures out the temporal paradox in All Good Things. As Q put it;

"For that one fraction of a second, you had open to you options you had never considered. That is the exploration that awaits you. Not mapping stars and studying nebulae... but charting the unknown possibilities... of existence."
