I've been trying to commit myself to TrekBBS the last week or so, mainly cos they have a rather active Stargate forum, but the UGO system sucks; no active topics link and that really annoying redirect page after each post, plus silly rules like not having your avatar show up until a ceratin number of posts Argghh. TSTL is no more TST seems to have died now, even though it got off to a good start. ST.com, well I hate that Ikon system, seriously its ridiculous not to be able to post images in this day and age. And what happened to stfans.net ???? Invision power boards are definately the best system for message boards and Sistertrek is the best board using that system. I stay here , not just cos I like this site and the people, but the fact that every other board is crap |

apophatic adj : of or relating to the belief that God can be known to humans only in terms of what He is not (such as `God is unknowable') I had to look it up |

^^^ It basically means 'by way of negation,' without necessarily relating to God. And it has nothing to do with typos, or French. |

^^^ I should have added-- I have used it outside of a theological context. It is simply an adjective, although its use when speaking of logic or theology is the most common and apt. So once again, you're right.
