Hawku,

Well, I continued to think in which (very early) episode would Dr. Crusher be looking at a screen that intently. I got to thinking about scans she may have taken on a planet, and then I thought of how the people on the planet needed something that the Enterprise crew couldn't give them, which led me to think about the kids that were kidnapped from the ship. Somehow I put it together that Dr. Crusher was trying to remedy that situation.

Actually, Hawku, I think it had very much to do with your hint about it being from a very, very early episosde as well. :yes:
