Glad to see things improving. Heck even Queen Elizabeth of England had to go through a year of hell (she lost two family members within a couple of months and endured a fire in one of her homes) Life happens to us all no matter our station in life. When things go bad you have to remember that there is no place to go but up. Looks like the up is starting to happen.

Moderator Response Dana - Some gentle advice. Please do not come on to this board with nothing but the intent to insult one of our longstanding posters. I realize that your breakup was not pleasant and I don't mean to lay blame on either party. However - since you have shown little or no interest in the main topic of this board (Star Trek) and you come on very infrequently a post like the one I just removed really just makes you look bitter. The original poster on this thread made his comments nearly 3 months ago. He needed to vent at the time and believe me - with the amount of interest you show in this board I am sure at the time he figured that neither you nor anyone you know personally would ever see those remarks. It's an anonymous message board and what was written should have no effect on your real life. Please don't bring your real life arguments into this board. Thank you. |

Going well. I'm out of the hole financially, and I'm saving money to get ready to get out of here. Although, I have a delimma..I have an account at a furniture store that is almost paid off. My credit sucks, and I need to open another account with this store to continue to rebuild my credit, but I dont really need anything else from them. Maybe you can help me narrow it down a bit. I've decided to get either... A) a big screen HDTV, even though this store doesnt carry the Mitsubishi brand, which is the brand I'd want. B) another computer C) washer and dryer. I dont need them now, but I will in the future. D) bedroom group...I dont like the one that I have, but I really dont see the need to spend money on some extravagant bedroom set. These are things I dont need, and really dont want right now, but like I said...I've got credit with this store, and it will help rebuild my credit score. |

I third that emotion. Practical once a year ain't bad. It sure beats going to the laundry mat.... but then again, you meet all kinds of people at the laundry mat
My sisters always used to joke that it would be nice if you met your future husband or wife in a church or at the library. I say the laundrymat is a good alternative. You can learn a lot about a person by the way he/she does his/her laundry.

^^^But, I have to go to sports bars to see the Miami Dolphins games anyway. They dont get carried much on TV unless you're in Florida. |
