The TNG movies are bad for loud music. It's really quiet, then all of a sudden, it gets really loud!

I found the start of Insert Catchy Name Here First contact to be pretty good.

I liked the early TNG music. They toned it down when Berman fired Ron Jones.

Lol see verything is Bermans fault

Hardly. I'm sure he is very well paid for destroying the longest lived sci-fi epic in history.

Apparently we look like this now
I'm watching Code of Honor right now, and I just noticed what he was talking about. In the first season, TNG used the original series music soundtrack...like the Japanese sounding music when something got tense. Its very loud, and kind of comical.

I don't remember that! That's great!

Usually I avoid TNG season 1 like the plague, but lately, I have been a bit nostalgic for it. Unfortunately, the DVD sets are the same price they have been since they came out.

There are some classics in season one. I usually avoid it too, but every now and then I get them out and have a watch.

I just finished watching season six of Voyager.

One of these days we'll have to get together and throw back some Bass ale, eat some fish & chips and have a good old Trek marathon in England, or come out to Cali, drink some chardonnay, eat some guacamole and chips instead or both!

By the way, I have been meaning to ask you, are there little fish and chips stands in the cities in England like hot dog stands here?

 That would be cool! I'll come over one day! When I can afford it!

Yeah, we have fish and chips stands, not just in the cities, but all over the place, even on motorways! We also have hotdog stands and a few other things.

Fish and chip shops are quite popular over here. There are at least 10 within a five minute walking distance of my house!

If you're talking about the opening music to First Contact, I agree. That was a great piece. I think FC had the best sound editing and music of the TNG movies. And they even slipped in a peppy version of "Moonlight Becomes You" during the holodeck scene! I'm a sucker for big band...
