I hope the people do turn out and are not put off by the treats from the terrorists. For example it will take brave people to vote when they are told by al-Qaeda that those that do are risking their lives. It will also be crucial for sunni groups to turnout and not boycott the election process. We have to hope and pray that everything turns out for the best because otherwise I think we could loose control of this situation.

I want to be optimistic, and certainly those videos give an optimistic outlook, but in the back of my mind I wonder if these elections will work. Worst case scenario would be a very low turnout, a mass Sunni boycott and multiple bombing of polling stations with many casualties
