I believe so.

NOAA has its fingers in way too many pies, from weather forecasting to reintroducing sturgeon into the wild. It ceased to be a forecasting entity around the time of the Carter administration.

I just don't think that it has a significant effect compared to natural phenomenon, like vocanic activity, naturally occuring fires, solar activity, &c. There are constantly these phenomenon occuring in the world and the far surpass human activity by orders of magnitude.

Precisely. Only the folly of humans could be presumptuous (and at times, arrogant) enough to think that we as a race could have such an effect on a planet that has survived for a million trillion gazillion years. And I would submit that it has been much longer than that. :)

If we go by the book, hours could seem like days, and centuries like millenia... by the book, of course. ;)

So you doubt the science being done by NOAA or their credibility ?

Sure it's studying a lot of things , it's a big organisation. CSIRO also is a big organisation and they are studing lots of things too , including climate change , and they are independently producing science and forcasts that confirm a great deal of what NOAA is saying. But then you don't bother checking many facts do you ? you just blindly follow the party line.

So , You'll have to do better than that , more specifics please.

Son, I lead, I don't follow.

So, in your infinite wisdom, do you think tha somehow the US caused the 9.0 Earthquake that triggered the tsunami?
