Speak softly, and carry a 57 megaton stick!
So Australia should not do anything to stop global terrorism?

So Australia should not do anything to stop global terrorism?

We (Australia, and our friends in NZ and Japan (and China and India)) are better off showing some leadership in the local region by helping our less afluent neighbours improve the lot of their people and by encouraging a climate of understanding and cooperation.

Participating in Bush's BS is not going help improve our (Australia's) security one jot.

So what did you say when al Queda set off a bomb that killed 200 Australians in Bali? That they deserved it? That Australia had to understand why the terrorist scum did it?

You are nothing more than an apologist for these vermin.

Do you think it's possible AB, for a peace protestor to be brave enough to die for his/her beliefs and principles and protect innocents as soldiers do?

Rachel Corrie was protecting weapons smuggling tunnels and the houses those tunnels ended in.

Why not ? If idealistic enough .

ABG: Actually yes , and it wasn't al Quaeda who set off the bombs in Bali , it was an Indonesian group - if you don't understand their motivatives then you can't counter them, unless you somehow kill every last one of them (an impossible task).
