yeah, but when it was split up we had the same ideas foe keeping order. I was referring to the No Nazi laws mentioned earlyer. Not basic values and beliefs.

Actually they didn't. Only West Germany had anti-Nazi policies. East Germany just rolled in tanks.

Oddly, East Germany's military uniforms were virtually unchanged from old Wehrmacht, Luftwaffe, and Kriegsmarine designs.

I love those old WWII films. We have several at the library, and now I'm thinking of checking some of those out. I would think that the German 'air lift' would have been quite an amazing thing to behold at the time.

I don't think this will have an effect on the prince's military career (or even his ability to get into or even the Academy). This particular kid seems intent on being the family rebel and the simple fact is that it will attract attention. I doubt that he is doing it for the publicity, but instead to thumb his nose at those taking the pictures and writing the articles.
