Well, as a kid I grew up on reruns of TOS. Captain Kirk was always quite an archetype for me, and still is. I've probably seen every episode of TOS a zillion times through the years. I've read quite a bit about Gene Roddenberry, and got to shake his hand at a ST convention in Vancouver back around 1980.... Strangely enough, he passed away on my birthday, which was kind of eery. I enjoyed all of Next Generation, and certainly respected Patrick Stewart's rendition of Picard. My favourite moments are probably between him and Q... I'd love to meet John De Lancie. I thought the series got stale in the last couple of seasons, though. The Wrath Of Khan is one of my greatest moments, and will always be one of my all-time favourite movies. I knew at that moment that TREK WAS BACK. I know we all have issues with ST:TMP. I really enjoyed DS9, especially once the conflict with the Dominion got going. Sisko was a great man.... like Kirk, I'd follow him to the gates of hell. I loved Kira and Garak as well. |

Yes, welcome to SisterTrek Aeon. Interestingly, your avatar reminds me of the Flux capacitor.
