Hello, everyone. Permission to come aboard.I'm another refugee from ST.COM which seems to have become a poorly supervised day-care center. This place already seems to have a nice feel to it, and a lot of diversity of stuff to talk about. You'll find me easy to get along with, and I don't flame people for disagreeing with me, even though I joked about that in another thread. I have a lot of hobbies and interests, so feel free to ask me anything that catches your curiousity. Oh, and don't be afraid to correct me on "house rules" , or if my subject matter becomes inappropriate (whatever that would be). BTW, I am a Canadian living on the west coast of BC just outside of Vancouver, who respects America and my UK ancestry. Thanx. |

Heh.... it wasn't so much that; just a lot of silly threads. I've been a Star Trek fan most of my life; in fact it's a part of me. But threads like: "Could Seven beat up Data" and "Is Bush worse than Hitler" get to be a bit much. Just from reviewing some of the threads and commentary here I can tell already that the maturity and IQ level is much higher. Although sometimes a silly thread can be fun... |

Welcome to Sister Trek Franko! We are always happy to welcome a new member to our community. If you have not done so, I would like to invite you to read over our Terms of Service, the SisterTrek Rules, the posting guidelines for each forum and our Rank & User-Group System. I would also like to direct your attention to the Board Operations Information located at the bottom of the message board. There you will find a Skin Selection and a Speed Selection. These two features will allow you to change how you view the message board; and allow you to select a speed to best compensate for the type of Internet connection you have. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to post them in the Questions, Suggestions & Feedback Forum. Again, welcome to the boards. We look forward to getting to know you! --24 |
