A VERY tough game!

Try out this game. The rules are very simple, but you might spend a long time trying to beat the computer. I myself stumbled onto the answer after hearing him cackle at me for 20 minutes.

Click if you dare!

(Could somebody pin this for a few days so that people can get a chance to see it? If not, then that's cool)

Doctortobe,

I thought it was going to be somewhat similar to Connect Four. BTW, is that Dandandat that explains the rules to viewers?

It could be, though I expected him to have smaller hands (whoever saw anybody who could hold 18 marbles in their hand)?

In any case, the thing about this game is that the AI has such a wide range of moves to counter yours with that you can tell 3-4 turns away that you are going to lose. The AI is also very good at defending against those same moves.

Scotty can work miracles, so the number of hands is a moot point! :)

How are you supposed to play the game?

AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGG!!! I hate the cackle. Its stuck in my head. Maybe I have too much time, it took me about 45 minutes to beat him. Maybe I should have taken up chess when I was young.

It's like chess?! In that case I'm not playing it.

Sort of. Its much simpler that chess. As DocToBe said, you have to think multiple turns ahead.

What I really hated was knowing turns in advance that I was going to lose and not being able to just restart the game without going through the long winded explanation. I just chose a move that would end the game as fast as possible.

In all reality, the ending really wasn't worth the effort.

T'Lac,

You don't like chess? Or, is it something else?

What I hated most about this game is that everytime I thought I had the AI beat, the AI would counter, and I would loose. And now I can't win anymore.

I don't like chess. But I never played it, so how would I know I don't like it? :headscratch: I guess I don't like it because it looks complicated and it takes too long to play and there are all sorts of strategies. :headscratch: That's a strange reason not to like chess. :ermm:

I see. It's a wonderful game, with an almost infinite amount of possibilities regarding its movements. :)

I love chess.

There used to be a chess club at my high school, held at lunch time for an hour. Because the line for lunch was so long, we used to get a pass to jump to the front if you were going to 'Chess club'.

The only reason i went was to skip the lunch line, but i really got into it after a while. Now i have a few chess sets lying around, including a TNG one. It's good for the brain!

I'll have to dig it out this weekend...
