T'Lac; Seven months KNOWN waiting time is better than "Some unknown time in the future when its done enough so I'm happy with it" COST?? (WHO CARES???
<<<ahem>>>>)List price would be about $30US, I think....Amazon and other on line places will sell it for $19-25US... Amazon and B+N have already announced a pre-order discount of 15-25% CPA; The books and movies get better as they go along..........but to each his own.... |

That's great. I can't wait. I've read them all. Title? Does anyone know what the premise of the story will be? Is this going to be the last book or should we be expecting a 7th book? |

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, IIRC. There will be seven. |

And what I consider cool is the fact that Rowling has stated that the Half blood Prince mentioned in the title is NIETHER Harry NOR Voldemort...even tho both are "half bloods"... NEW CHARACTER What does IIRC mean??? Something like for you information...FYI |

I like the movies okay, but they are really for children. I think the fact that the Lord of the Rings movies have come out around the same time makes it look a bit goofy. |

It's one of those that hardly anyone uses (like FWIW)! It means "if I remember correctly".

I am excited myself for the next book. I don't know what is wrong with me. I got a Job at Waldenbooks shortly after the first two came out, and I was required to read (on company time) the first chapter of the first book. I was so bored after the first couple of pages, I quit reading it. I avoided Harry Potter like the plague. Anyway, I sort of half watched the first movie and wasn't too impressed. Then I saw the second movie and for some reason was curious about what happened next. Then I broke my vow and read the third book. I really liked it and then I read the fourth and then the fifth, then I went back and tried to read the first one and ended up skipping the first couple of chapters because they were slow. Then I read the second one. So, I am not a Potterphile or anything, but I can't wait until the next book comes out. Actually, the 4th movie should be coming out in June I beleive and then the 6th book should be in July. |
