I'm Captain Kirk!
Last weekend my brother and I were talking about the good old days. We laughed about the time we fought over Star Trek. He wanted to watch The Super Friends and I wanted to watch Star Trek: The Animated Series. For the record, I kicked his ass! Anyway. We still argue about one thing. He believes James West could beat Captain Kirk. I one the other hand, believe that Captain Kirk would kick Jim West's ass. I'm puttin' Five on Kirk! Who are you bettin' on? |

I'm Captain Kirk!
The name of the show was Wild, Wild,West. It was on roughly the same period of time as Star Trek. It was about two Secret Service agents who roamed the West of the 1880's in a special train, fighting evil. The two main characters were James T. West and Artemus Gordon. Jim was the ladies man and Artie was the master of disguise. Like Capt Kirk, Jim West seemed to always get his shirt ripped off in a fight. It was classic 1960's television.

UNGH!
So what does the T stand for in James T. West?
I might add that Jim Kirk and Jim West were both very good looking men in their prime. I also think Jim Kirk would beat Jim West in a fight. |
