Another impossible choice. Do I pick something by Mel Brooks, Monty Python or Ed Wood? Or do I choose something else?

The funniest movie I have seen is "The Gods Must be Crazy". I think it was from South Africa it is about bush man that finds a Coke bottle. It leads to fights among his tribe so he leave to throw the evil thing that fell from the gods off the end of the earth. and tells the story of his trip. :rotfl: :rotfl:

You know, the Holy Grail is way up there for me too. Probably more so than UHF.

Airplane! is the funniest movie I've ever seen. I laughed so hard I almost puked. The Naked Gun movies were boring compared to the Police Squad series. UHF was okay, it had Micheal Richards. Spaceballs and Holy Grail are two movies I just DON'T get. I've seen Holy Grail a few times but...saying it was just silly would be being too kind. Spaceballs was just dumb. I couldn't even finish watching it. Admitedly, I usually don't find parodies of either Star Wars or Star Trek in the least bit amusing (except for Hardware Wars, that was a classic).

Rev - Wash your mouth out now. How dare you say bad things about Holy Grail!

It was meant to be silly!

Rev - when you mentioned Hardware Wars you reminded me of another classic short, Godzilla Meets Bambi. :loling:

I somehow put those two films together in my mind. I guess because they are from the same era.

^^^ If you haven't seen it - it's hilarious. First they show Bambi minding his own business in the woods. Then a foot comes down on his head.

That's the whole movie - shortest movie I ever saw! But the credits go on forever and under every category they show the same name :loling: :loling:
