Show that to a primary school kid and you'll just a funny look back at you and lots of giggling. They'll probaby think it is a code of some sort or that dad or mum has finally lost it. ![]() And I thought my keyboard / typing skills were awful ! Perhaps your fingers have suffered a dose of demonic possession

Don't make me use my bare hands on you.

This is due to the tremendous amount of experience most of us have reading which allows us to make really good guesses automatically without conciously thinking about it based on the context, shape of the word and, as you said, beginning letter. To a child or a person new to English, this would be a garbled mess. |

Time to put something here
|
Being dyslexic, this is the primary way that I get through reading something (written the correct way). When I was younger and inexperienced at reading it was difficult - always guessing the wrong words, but now that I have become more proficient at it (as well as internalized some of the “English” rules most people take for granted) I am much better at it. Many of the words you wrote above would not even registered to me that they have been spelt wrong. |

But I don't do that, so I don't get frustrated. |
