We have to remember that Guinan was an El-Aurien. The were known as a race of listeners! As old as she probably was, That was one skill that she was very good at, & knew exactly how to get a person to come out of their shell! I liked the episode when Picard, Ro, Keiko, & Guinan had all been turned into children! Even as a child, Guinan was wise beyond her physical age! The way that she could get Ro to enjoy the joys of youth was superb! Bill
