Are you planning on making any New Years resolutions this year?
Did you make any last year? How many did you accomplish?

Last year mine were: find a new job, start my own business, and lose a bunch of weight eat better exercise regularily yadda yadda yadda. Accomplished two out of the three.

This year my I resolve to not listen to a single Loverboy song all year. Why are they still around 25 years later? They were only barely tolerable 25 years ago.

My 2004 resolution was: to try 20 new things that I would not have previously done before. (I think I went over)

I have several for 2005.

1. No caffeine for an entire YEAR! :thud:
2. No more biting my nails.
3. No more procrastinating.

I have never really gotten into the habit of making New Years resolutions. I know I did once or twice many years ago, but I can't seem to recall what the resolutions were.

I don't make resolutions that I might not be able comply with, or meet.

I don't make them. But if I had to make just one, it would be that I somehow post a little bit more on the SisterTrek Board next year. :)

Welsby,

I don't know if you will do that, but I am fairly certain that you will pass me one day. That's because I know for a fact that I will not be able to post as much in the upcoming months, given the reviews and abstracts I have to write, and the fact that my first book has been accepted for publication. Since the first draft for the book is due next year, I will be very busy with that. I'm also working on a second monograph (early stages); between the two of these manuscripts, my post count will drop considerably. Good luck on your resolution! :)

Oh my god that's scary. :P

I don't make NYR's because I usually don't live up to them, but mine would probably be to go to the gym at least 3 times a week, and make it to 10000 posts next year.

Make it a habit, doesn't have to be right away.
