^^^ Last night, my wife was beeping the horn at me--and she was right behind me. I had no radio on, and it was quiet outside. I have no idea why I could not hear it! |

The plane must have been pretty lightweight for the trucker not to realize that it had landed on top of his truck. Then again, those rigs can be extremely loud. That's wild though. Sounds like some bizarre stunt right out of a movie. |

Time to put something here

The man did a good job handling the satiation. I once had to pilot a Cherokee Warrior:![]() from Connecticut to Long Island that had developed a malfunction in the engine just prier to take off. We got the malfunction patched up and took off 30mins behind schedulable, it was the scariest flight I had ever taken – the whole time wondering if the engine would hold together for the flight home. Not to mention since we where 30mins behind schedulable it placed the flight in the middle of dusk and then ended in darkness. At the time I was unaccustomed to flinging at night with out the ability to see where I was flying (reeling on instruments) and also landing at night. So the broken engine and night flight made it a scary flight, but on the pulse side it did hold one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. Again since the flight was behind schedule we had to fly through the setting sun, the disappearing sun, the red, orange and yellows on the cloud tops and around the plane, and the reflections off the Sound where beautiful beyond words – and since we made it home alive it was all worth it. |
