ah...giving a cat a pill....what an adventure! Usually the sort of thing I bring out my suit of armor for. Seriously, we use the "wrap the creature in a towel and hold on tightly" protocol. This usually works. However, I now totally believe that my feline was most likely dropped here by an alien species to see how we would react. OY!!!! When my cat was younger, he had an appetite for electrical wiring (the stereo system was his favorite, followed closely by the tv - I wonder if the flavors were different?). Friends of mine suggested something I could get at the Vet's called "Bitter Apple" and spread it on the wiring. Well, we got the stuff, spread it on the wires and sat back to watch the results. His purring got louder as he gleefully licked the stuff up! This creature also likes pickles, olives, capers and other pickled stuff! OY!! Wierdest cat I've ever owned. Julia |

My Grandma always gives her cat pills rolled up in Marks and Spencers Chicken. My Grandparents completely dote on their cats. Marks and Spencers is one of the most expensive food shops in the country. One day my Grandad nipped into M+S whilst I was in the car. He came back and said that a women in the queue had given him a funny look because she had pointed out to him that the chicken in one part of the shop was cheaper then the one he had in his hand. He couldn't understand why she looked at him funny when he replyed that his cats only liked the premium range. That chicken must be nearly five pounds a piece. They must be the most spoiled cats in the country! |

My dogs chewed throught the AC power wiring once. I repaired the wiring and the dogs never went near it again. |

I put it in an envelope and mail it to him, the same way that the utility company sends me a bill.

The wiring issue was an easy fix (for once). I mixed a little chili powder with water, dipped a paper towel in it and wiped the wires with it. I didn't see any obvious reaction, but the wire chewing stopped. |

My cat loves popcorn and french fries. In fact, he will sneak up and try to claw them out of your hands and eat them off the floor! He also will stay facinated and paw at a running fawcet and a flame from a candle for hours. Weird. |
