Update - To tell you the truth, there is none. The search continues.

Sigh. :ermm:

Why did the song - Looking for Love (In all the Wrong Places) suddenly started to play in my head? :headscratch:

Have you tried dating services? I know it may sound desperate, but the truth is, the serious people go that route. It might be worth checking out.

Nah. I can't afford it. The agencies I talked to wanted $2500 up front so they can set up a matchmaker profile. No thank you. I will let my conscience be my guide.

I believe I need a girlfriend. I know now being shy is not the answer.

Maybe it's time I take some risks and get actively involve in the community's public events. Who know where it might lead me? :headscratch:

:jawdrop: $2500? I had no idea.

Well, there are ways of meeting cool people. Find something you like to do and see if there are groups of people interested in said activity. Such as..........Star Trek!!!

There's lots of people who like to hang at conventions, depending on where you live, you could attend dozens a year!

Get out of the house and find a place you like to hang out. A good way is to get involved in your community, like volunteering at schools, or joining a church group. I know this might sound kind of lame, but you want to avoid meeting people in questionable places like bars. A lot of time, those people are just looking for some fun that night instead of a relationship.
