You will like Trek for as long as you live? I have wondered this for some tim now. I used to think i would like The X Files as long as lived, but i never watch it anymore. i am more into Trek that i ever was X Files, but i still wonder. Anyone else think this way? |

I'm certain I will. I also believe that there will be a Trek for each generation, hopefully they won't mess it up. |

Say it did end with ENT, in 20 yrs I would still watch it, just not as much Although in 20 or 50 yrs we might have something very close to holodecks, even in that case I think someone will write a trek holonovel. Same goes for the Original Star Wars, when I'm 50 I might only watch Return of the Jedi once every couple of years, instead of the once every 6 months I watch it now, but I dont think I'll ever get sick of it. My mother still listens to bleeding ABBA every second day |

Of course I will love it. I will probably stray every once in a while and then come back. |

Funny, that's one of my least favorite songs by them. But others are quite good, IMO.

I think I will. While I may not like all the series as much as I used to (TNG being an example, even though It still was a great series) I'm still very much into it with Star Trek and DS9. Also, I think if I ever have kids and get them into it, I will pass it on to the next generation and it will be even better. Explain to the young one what it means by polorizing the hull plating, or using the deflector dish, or (Insert Technobabble here) any other thing. |

I think so, although I probably won't be as into it later as I am now. I have quit watching DS9 now as I have seen every episode so many times I can tell basically everything that happens in nearly every single episode. I am now watching TOS on DVD and memorizing everything that happens there. Next year it will be Enterprise, who knows, I might start collecting TNG and Voyager on DVD too, but probably not right away. The cool thing about Star Trek is there's so much of it, by the time you are done with one series, you can go back to another after you forgot most of what happened there. Right now, I am loaning by DS9 DVDs to a friend for his X-files DVDs for about the next year. So later when I get them back, I will have forgotten much of the story and watch it all over again!! |

I've loved it since I was a child, I haven't gotten tired of it yet. |
