^^^ Me neither. When I used to drink, I drank scotch (when I desired the hard stuff) and wine (when I did not desire the hard stuff). |

Not all that bad? Are your taste buds broken? Pure unadulterated vodka is one of the most flavorful liquids in existance! |

Don't you mean "unflavorful" Doc? On the other hand, the Russians like to spice their vodkas (I don't mean citrus flavors either, but rather pepper and such). Shabanga!! |

Depends on the quality of vodka you are drinking. The best quality indeed strives to remove everything but the alcohol and water. College student quality vodka however will have impurities from the rye/potatoes/whatever the heck they put in there. If you do ever get some high quality stuff however, try it with some honey and red pepper. |

Have to agree with Fesarius's choice of Scotch. We all know what the real Scotty would say about vodka...

^^^ Scotty right! If you like Scotch, you'll love a rusty nail. It's half scotch and Drambui. Two or three of them and your there, baby!

Being an engineer, you'd think that Scotty would love vodka. What with his affection to screwdrivers and all. (commence  now) |

Why ? He's a scot so the preference would be beer or Scotch Whiskey (not the stuff Yanks call whiskey.) Now this ![]() is good stuff ! And the older it is the better it gets - I've a 20 year old bottle that I parttake from (for medicinal perposes on very rare occasions - very smooth and wonderful with Coke Cola and ice). Look for the black label if you want the best. I thought he was partial to some very potent Romulan beverage ? |

I pretty much always prefer to have beer, but on a cold, wet bay area day a nice warm glass of brandy makes me feel all warm inside.
