Don't make me use my bare hands on you.
Watching the baseball game yesterday afternoon, I began to notice hearing a lot of Patrick Stewart's voice on TV commercials; prescription blood pressure medication, all-weather radials, cars, etc. It was kind of funny because the first time that I noticed it (reading lively poetry about a drug) and decided to listen for more, the very next commercial had his voice extolling the virtues of Goodyear tires or something similar.

Is this guy hard up for cash? He has a great voice for commercials and it must be a quick and easy way to turn a coin, but it is getting so his voice is on everyother commercial.

What's next, an album?

If one can make money off of a great voice then why not.

James Earl Jones is another actor who has made a lot of money from voiceovers in commercials, documentaries and of course his most famous voice over - Star Wars.

I was tempted to list James Earl Jones a while back when someone started a thread of sexy voices. Everyone they listed were young and good looking. They didn't really have sexy voices.

Patrick Stewart and James Earl Jones have two of the sexiest voices going.

I know, I absolutely turn to pudding when I hear Patrick Stewart.

I wasn't actually thinking about it from the sex-appeal standpoint, min, thanks for pointing that out.

James Earl Jones does have a great voice. "This is CNN"

Well, i don't think he is hard up for cash, since he reportedly earned the same amount for just Nemesis than he did for the entire TNG series.

He has turned up in a couple ofads over here.

William Shatner is doing some All-Bran ads too.

If I were an actor of the Patric Stewerts caliber, I don't think I would do commercials myself, but I heard that the price tag for a celebrity to do a commercial to a commercial is pretty high.

Besides, maybe he is having trouble making the payments on his mansion or something...

Stewart probably didn't get rich turning down fat checks for a 30 second voice over. ;)

By the way, I haven't seen you before iancook, welcome to boards if your new. Nice to meet new people who like to talk trek. ;) :wave2:
