OK I could have posted this in the Enterprise forum, I know, but the episode The Xindi only just aired here (as in 10 minutes ago) and I didn't want to risk any spoilers of upcoming eps. My question is, is the 'liquid platinum' stuff they paid the evil miner with the same stuff inside the gold bars in gold pressed latinum? Also why was Major Hayes subordinate to Reed and Sato, I'd have thought that he would be their superior in rank at least, seing as thought the naval ranks of ensign and lieutennant equate as lower ranks than the army rank of major. Sorry about posting in here, just keen to avoid any accidental spoilers. |

Timbo, This question has puzzled a few people before. The Admiral, Rose, and Minuet (I think) have discussed this in other threads. Sorry I don't really know, but I like Hayes being a subordinate in this role. |

Possibly. The Ferengi in "Acqusition" mentioned it, so it does exist at that time. |
