Oooh! What kind of tomotoes? I don't like them personally, but growing things is kinda cool.

I am not much of a green thumb, but I decided to try and grow tomatoes (in pots) this year. I have a couple of generic tomato trees. I ordered them from Gardner’s Choice. They are supposed to get 8 feet tall. They are about 5 feet tall right now.

I have a couple of Roma tomato plants and some supersweet cherry tomato plants. They all have little baby tomatoes on them now.

Yum yum.

Nope, no greenhouse. I live in the Southeast part of the US. The weather ranges from 65 - 100° F during the end of spring/summer/beginning of fall growing season. It starts to cool back down mid-fall.

I live in a good growing area. You do have to be extra careful during the middle of summer though when the temperatures are usually 90+ degrees F.

24 - you are so lucky that you will have tomatoes soon. I have plants in the ground but I don't even have flowers on them yet, let alone tomatoes.

I am definitely happy about it. I started my plants in mid-April so that I would have tomatoes throughout the summer. If I had waited until May, it could be end of July before it started producing.

We can't plant here before the Victoria Day long weekend in late May (around the 24th of May)

Before that there is still too high a chance of frost. My plants went in the ground last weekend.
