I'm happy because friends of mine who live in Lakeland, Florida have come up north to Erie, PA for a few days and I get to go out to dinner with them! Glad they made it through the various hurricanes in one piece. So much easier to hug that way!
Also happy because I got an invitation to join the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association and the letter had my professional designation after my name! First time I ever saw that in print! Very Kewl! Julia |

I am happy because I now have booked my flight for my holiday next year to Florida then Vegas in time for the Vegas Star Trek Convention
(not so happy about the bill I just got for it though
).Also happy that tomorrow is Jeans for Genes day at work so although I probably will be totally rushed off my feet at least I can try to delude myself that it's already the weekend and im just volunteering my time for the day (maybe that's a big stretch of the imagination but still). |

^^^ Have a great time at the Convention when it arrives. That sounds like a lot of fun. I have been receiving Emails regarding it every now and then. |

T'Lac, You have mentioned this a couple of times now. Are you taking advantage of the sale on more than one day?

I am happy because I just finished and printed off my two, three thousand word essays that I have to hand in on Monday. They are all printed off and ready to go. I am so relieved! |

^^^ It's been quite awhile since I had to write those, but I remember well the feeling of relief to be done with them.

Tomorrow is my daughter's 3rd birthday. Today we had her party. It was held at a gym and it was set up like 3 obstacle courses for toddlers. There were two teachers guiding the kids around each course and they had all had a great time. There were inclined mats to do somersaults on, steps to climb, trampolines to jump on, a "pool" of soft foam blocks to jump in, a rope to swing on, a floor-level balance beam, tunnels to crawl through, and all kinds of other paraphernalia. And, of course, there was cake too.
The best part for me though was that this was the first year my daughter has really cared about her birthday. She went to several other birthday parties before hers as classmates from her daycare turned 3 before she did. She really wanted her birthday to come. Then, as it approached, she was excited with each friend that replied to say they were coming. Last night she had trouble getting to sleep from anticipation. Watching her today enjoying that party with her friends was very special.

IE, Great story. I love this age as well. We have one now who just turned three, and it's great watching her learn new things. It's also amazing how much they can talk at this age--non stop!
