My mom told me I'd never meet a nice girl in a bar... My late father-in-law told my wife she wouldn't meet a nice guy in a bar... So where do you think we met...

Lucky for some starbase. I meet one girl, and she turned out to be a liar and a rude so and so. My friend says that he used to get messages from her, and yet she told him that she'd been text both and yet lied and my good friend MC thinks shes ok cause she didn't get treated like dirt. |

Well, hi everyone...I've been spending a bit of time at buckdharma.com lateley what with all of the personnel changes in Blue Oyster Cult of late (both Danny Miranda and Bobby Rondinelli have left the band) so it kind of takes away whatever extra time I'd have for SisterTrek. As far as st.com goes, I should be making my 8000th post either tonight or tomorrow morning...who'd a thunk it? Welsby..actually the band was very good...wildwoman and I talked most of the night...until her boyfriend showed up. It was about four months later she showed up at the jam night I co-ran...and that's pretty much where things really started. I'm playing part time with my friend Joe's band (he also plays drums for my band), The Hollister Thompson Band. I played with them last Friday and will be with them again this Friday (Pete, the regular bassist, plays Saturday).

I confess I had yet to meet someone who can accept my strange sense of humour - My mother's description of me - and my unique POV of a thing we had come to know as life.
NTL I will wait for her. I just hope she's a redhead, beautiful, single and available. I know! Maybe I should post a personal ad:  Wanted: Single female with a passion for writing. Must know scifi and enjoy exploring strange new worlds. Apply within. Or maybe not.

My last partner and I met online strangely enough. That didnt work out, but apparantly it was one of the better judgement calls I've come to make. I've dated a few people here and there since he and I split, but I'm finally settled on someone who just kinda "fits" - maybe like that old comfy pair of jeans that will never get thrown out? Anyway, he and I met last year when my youngest son and his oldest daughter attended the same school. We'd pass in the halls of the school, say hi to each other and that was about it (I was taken at the time, as was he). He'd remembered hearing me tell my son's teacher where I worked & claims to have looked it up and dialed the number many times but said he always hung up before someone picked up the line (due to lack of cajones). He finally got my yahoo ID from a mutual friend, contacted me, and now things are going wonderful. Its a funny thing that no matter how many times I try to escape that circle of friends, it always comes back - its probably for a good reason I couldnt escape. |
