Granted, but when it comes to the important stuff such as your view of life and afterlife, those things I think are important to share. Besides, in terms of entertainment, we are pretty opposite.

Not necessarily. I was with the guy I mentioned with no conflicts, and he was a devout Jew, I'm atheist.

Actually - my wife and I are very different in our interests.

The girls I liked before I started to get know her were more like me in their interests and I actually thought of one of them as a solemate (I'd know her since I was about 13) - she married someone else (one of my mates) and they eventually eventially split up, she then married an older man and eventually this relationship died too so now she is a single mum (and I hear is back in town after living in West Oz for about 15 years). Must look her up some day and maybe get her back into square dancing , with her kids (?) and she has a few I hear.

My wife and I been married for 24 years and though it has gotten stormy from time to time , we are still together - lasting relationships take work and compromise - if you are not prepared to work at it and give way sometimes then you are doomed to join the ranks of separated , divorced and the desperate & dateless.

High on smitteness. I guess.

Anyway, it was in one of a chain of pizza procurement facilities with an accomodation for those who wish to assemble their own vegetation combinations for immediate consumption. They also served beer.

It helps my chances with the opposite sex if they are wearing beer-goggles. ;)

Or, as is the case when one consumes many beers, if you can't see the opposite sex that clearly. ;)

I have had the goggles on a few times, but I don't think that I have ever had gender confusion as a result, if that is what you are implying.

Time to put something here
Met my wife on AOL, it turned out to be a smaller world then I had previously thought as she worked with my mother. Mom said she was a nice pretty girl, so I said "what the hell let me give this internet thing a try" I did and it turned out to be the best thing or biggest mistake (it depends how you look at these things you know) of my life.

Let me draw a diagram of the events

Posted Image ----> The introduction

Posted Image ----> Ask mom for the skinny on internet girl.

:handshake: ----> Meeting internet girl

:shuffle: ----> Me on the first date

:kiss: ----> Internet girls response to the first date

:juggle: ----> Me on the following dates, internet girl becomes my girlfriend

:wub: ----> Me after three months of dating my girlfriend

:encore: ----> Me after girlfriend says she loves me to

:playnice: ----> Courting my girlfriend

:idea: ----> me getting the bright Idea to get married

:scared: ----> after meeting the soon to be in-laws

Posted Image ----> Bachelor party

Posted Image ----> The big day, my girlfriend becomes my wife

:blah: :seesaw: :frown: :rollingpin: :whip: ----> The many faces of my wife now that we are married

:giveup :doh: :sorry: :ftmth: :buried: :banghead: ----> The many faces of me now that we are married

But ---> :wub: and the occasional ---> :spank: make it all worth it.

and their is always ---> :beam: to hope for.
