I usually try to reserve my judgement of such things until a verdict is arrived at. Unfortunately one flaw in our court system is that nobody would have preconceived notions before deciding a case. Pretty difficult to do when the media and everybody and their brother is already deciding the case before the trial begins. |

I know. That's why I'd never get on a jury. I pay too much attention to the news. I don't know why the media thinks we need to know every little detail about these cases, because it does tamper with the jury pool. The lawyers basicly pick the most ignorant people they can find, which is kind of scary if you're the one on trial. I don't know how Oprah got on the jury for a murder trial. You'd think that the lawyers wouldn't want someone like her on the jury. Who knows. |
