Oops. I missread the question. I thought you meant that Does anybody in the media condemn the Moveon.org ads. I voted no becuase I've only heard one person in the mainstream media do so. I need to change my vote to yes.

I wonder if someone could explain to me how a documentary showing actual footage can be considered a lie? It's actual real footage. Nobody was an actor.

CV6,

I voted no, but actually voted yes in order to validate your vote. So, we just voted the opposite of what we should have done. That way, the poll is not skewed! ;)

what are you referring to?

In General: If you edit what was said to make it sound and look a certain way wich is opposite or different from what is actually ment can be considered a lie.

CV6,

No problem. These polls are usually exceedingly accurate, so I didn't want this one to be the first that fell short of the mark. ;)

I don't think that the groups like Moveon.org (so called section 527 organizations) have violated any campaign laws - I don't think that Republican Swift Boat group is in violation of any laws, either.

As for the campaign laws - I think the current campaign laws are more about preserving the "bi-polar" disfunctional two party system in the USA than they (the laws) are about anything else. The bastards who shamelessly weave and meander through the laws are the very ones who wrote the self-serving laws.

I oppose any movement to limit or restrict personalities like Michael Moore. Question him? Sure. Disagree with him? Fine. Refuse to see his productions? That's an option. Silence him? No - not in the United States of America.

Condemn Moveon.org and other 527s? On the contrary - I get a bit of a kick out of the negative campaigning. The more that the Republicans and Democrats slam and expose each other, the sooner our country will be freed from the "two-parties-ought-to-fit-all" strangle hold that these two organizations conspire to maintain.

Benetil, you do know that Kerry hired Moveon.org's Director of Special Projects to become his campaign's Director of Online Communications and Organization, right? The guy's name was Zach Exley, and this was back in April (right around the time the Bush=Hitler ads were first running).

Hi, Admiralbill_gomec.

Yes, I read/watch/listen to the news.

I'm also familiar with names like Ben Ginsberg and Ken Cordier.

Plausible denial. Excuses. Very little integrity. These clowns could all be Olympics judges.

I'm not sure if this article has entered the discussion, so I'll post it here. If this has already been discussed, please disregard:

It's been aluded to, but not posted specifically, I think.

Interesting that your article mentioned Robert Bauer, but not Joe Sandler. Sandler, who performs similar functions on the Dem side of the aisle, defended Ginsberg's actions in other articles.

Yes, I condemn the ads. I don't think Bush comes even close to being in the same league as Hitler. However, if moveon.org thinks he is akin to Hitler, then that is their opinion and they do have a right to express it.

Yes, he resigned. Meanwhile, Kerry's Director of Online Communications and Organization, Zach Exley, still remains. (for those who don't like looking higher up in threads, Exley was Moveon.org's Director of Special Projects) Oh, there are others...
