Time to put something here

Outside the President's visit in Mankato earlier this month, Minnesotans were greeted by John Kerry supporters who extending their middle fingers and held up signs saying "F---k Bush, Vote for Kerry Honk" and "F--k Republicans."

Am I the only one who finds something wrong with this on a purely civil level? Should I be happy that these people are going to help electing my next president?
Can some one (and I am asking honestly) give a matching example of republican supporters being so crude?
