I can't delete the tangent, but I can turn it into a cosine.

Back on topic - This really is a perfect companion post to "More Cracks in the Facade", isn't it?

What do both posts say about party politics in the US today? Have things gotten so partisan that people are starting to get afraid to speak thier minds when thier opinions differ from the leader of the party? Should it be so shocking when someone has a different opinion?

If the people who post on this website are a representative sample of the population in the US I'd say that it has become too partisan for my tastes.

What does this prove? There are a lot of people who think the way he does. Is it because he is a republican? As in if a republican jumps ship then the party "must" be wrong. He is just one man, and I know a lot of republicans that do not agree with the war in Iraqi , it changes the situation little form the way it was yesterday.

There are some people on this board who think that if you disagree with Bush and the invasion of Iraq that you must be a "leftist", uninformed, or Anti-American. I just like to give examples of people who do question the invasion and clearly do not fit into any of these categories.

Mostly "uninformed."

Does informed with incorrect information count as uninformed?

^^^ I know you asked that question of the admiral - but I would have to say yes. If you are given incorrect information then you are uninformed, albeit unintentionally.

Now I have a question for you - are you leading up to something? If so please be more direct about it - and remember if you are claiming someone gave incorrect information then be prepared to prove it was incorrect with some facts.

Where do you feel this is going Admiral? I'm trying to see whether what you mean by "uninformed" is the same as what I mean by uninformed.

Here we go again... I'm going to be told that I don't know what you're thinking...

Okay, you're either going to ask something akin to "What about reports Bush received of WMDs" or you are going to say that someone here gave you bad information.

Note upward that I was responding to your comment of...

... talking about people on this site. So, if you were going to start off on a tangent about WMDs, it would not be applicable. If you were going to say that people in here have been given erroneous information, it is up to the receiver to accept it, check it, or disbelieve it.

SO, ARE YOU LEADING UP TO SOMETHING? That was the point of what Minuet speculated. DO YOU HAVE A POINT TO MAKE, or were you simply trying to change the subject again? TELL US!
