Something Wicked This Fae Comes
|
The object of this game is to guess where the photo was taken. The photo must be of a place that is relatively known (i.e. not a picture of your backyard), or can easily be found out with a brief search on the net (from obvious clues in the photo). In addition, this place must exist here on Earth. There really are no rules about who can start the next game. Whoever solves the mystery is more than welcome to post the next photo. If after a while no one does, I will post another one. I will provide the first photo. If it turns out to be too dificult, I or the next person should go with a more obvious photo. Please keep the photos relatively small so they do not disrupt the download of the thread. Where were these photos taken? ![]() Hint: This location is in the United States. Also, if you can name those two Pandas, I will give you a cookie.

Oh, that's too bad. I can change the way you view the picture if that helps (change the file extension or link the photo differently). Although, those options still might not work either. Let me know if there is anything I can do on my end that will allow you to bipass that particular problem. And yes it was taken at the zoo.
Nope.

Nope, one of the Pandas isn't Ling-Ling. The last I heard, Ling-Ling was still living in Japan. Also, there is a small zoo about an hour north of Charlotte "The Charlotte Metro Zoo." I just did a check on the net, and it isn't a very reputable zoo. It wouldn't surprise me if it has been shut down (it is a private zoo). The major reputable zoos near where I live are Columbia, SC or Asheboro, NC (neither of which have pandas as far as I know). I haven't been to either since I was a kid. So that is a No on Ling-Ling, and No on the Charlotte Zoo.

Hint: Giant Pandas are extremely rare (estimated that there are no more than 1,000 left in the world). There are very few zoos in the US that house Giant Pandas. Fesarius has already mentioned one of those zoos.
