I wanted to move this quiz from the politics forum to here to see if anybody could answer these questions. You would be surprised at how much of your life is a result of the brilliance and industrial knowhow of the great state of Oklahoma. Okay, enough of these small time citizenship tests. It is time for the test of all tests, the test to see if you are worthy enough to live on the greatest piece of real estate on the globe. Do you know enough to be concidered..... AN OKLAHOMAN!?!?!?!?! This is not a test that you should expect to pass. Many haven't and have gone on to lead long, healthy lives in Texas. If you pass, you will stand with the elite who are in our ranks. If you fail, you will merely be Texan. On to the test. 1. The first _______ in the world was installed in Oklahoma City on July 16, 1935. 2. There is an operating _______ on the state capitol grounds. 3. Boise City was the only city in the United States to be bombed in ______. 4. An Oklahoman, _________, invented the first shopping cart. 5. The first capitol of Oklahoma was ________. 6. The state motto is _______. 7. The year that the Oklahoma land run was held was ______. 8. Oklahoma's first public school of higher education was _________. 9. An Oklahoman, Clinton Riggs, designed the __________ and first tested it in Tulsa. 10. Until only a few years ago, the Oklahoma State Capitol building was the only capitol building in the Union not to have a ________. |

As would I.
Yes, but that's like saying that you are tied with the best team in the Finals of any sport *before* the game starts: 0-0.

I like all movie musicals (well most anyways )I have not seen South Pacific and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers as often as Oklahoma, so I don't know if I would do as well on a quiz. Oklahoma I can practically quote. Of course, we also did the play in high school so that helps. (I played in the pit band) |
