The correct answer is indeed A. Remember, density is dependant on both volume and mass. Earth is made up almost totally of various solid materials, making it the most dense of the three (5.52 g/cm3). The sun is nearly totally made up of plasma, a liquidy gassy substance that puts in a far second (1.41 g/cm3). Jupiter, made up mostly of gas, but with a bit o liquid and solid in the middle, is a close third (1.32 g/cm3). To put this in perspective with the last question, a copper penny has a density of 8.92 g/cm3. And yes Fesarius, compared to much of your environment, you are indeed relatively dense (moreso then air and water at least). Next question: What is more dense? A) Ice B) Water |
