I love her gown, and the veil is perfect (traditional lace, understated). :)

Listen Somerled, a woman marrying royalty is to women what scoring in the final of a world tournament is to men. You think just because men marry out of love the same would apply to women but that's where you're wrong. For women a royal wedding is the ultimate price, marrying a doctor or a company's president is not a bad score but nothing beats hooking a real king, that takes ambition, dedication and years of effort. Mary D. has just won this year's championship in their world-wide competition.

There has been one American born princess (Grace of Monaco - Grace Kelly) and one Queen (Noor of Jordan - Lisa Halaby)

Univision is still running nes about the Spanish raoyal wedding.

They looked like a happy couple. The wedding was comemmorated with the usual doodads. Trinkets with the couples picture for sale all over Madrid.

Seems cultural roots have alot to to with which wedding you pay attencion to.

Really? Women keep track of fairy tale weddings?

You got me.

I always figured that weddings are created for the purpose of uniting two people in marriage. Three is all it takes (him, me and the minister) - anyone more than that will have to see to their own entertainment. The last thing I want to do on that date is to worry about party details. There's plenty of time for that later.

Like I said , she's a pretty girl but , really not worth all the fuss (except perhaps to her family and the groom).

I guess this the ultimate case of social climbing and well she'll do very nicely out the arrangement.

As to Tasmania. It's the one state , and one of only a few parts of Australia I have not been to (yet), I plan to rectify that omission one day , I understand apart from being very cold (especially in winter), and that you have be careful of their Jack Jumper ants (very nasty ants which will go out of their way to attack you and which can kill a person with one sting !) is very scenic and worth the visit.

I personally don't give a toss who she married , even it means she'll one day become a queen.

PS : I posted it here because I thought yanks were very keen on Royal's and Royal does , since they gave the Pommie Royal family the flick in the 1770's. Is this why they make a fuss over movie and pop stars ? (I wonder - substitute Royalty ???.)
