Diets, both temporary and permanent. What was good one year isn't so marvelous the next. Drink 8 glasses of water a day to avoid dehydration. No, you don't have to do that, yes you do...not. When I was pregnant I was told to eat liver at least twice a week as it had a lot of iron. Now women are told to stay away from that food due to the concentration of vitamin A that can cause birth defects. In my mothers day pregnant were told to drink Guiness because "Guiness is good for you!" Lots of vitamin B! I've heard that women with PMT are now recomended a diet high in dairy and oily fish. Soup helps you slim. If I eat everything they say I'm supposed to eat to maintain perfection in mind and body I'd be the size of a house! I'm sick of being told what to eat! Sorry, rant over.
