Time to put something here

Sounds like an enlightened policy the US is taking here. Thanx for bringing this to our attention somerled. I knew you had a soft spot. Its also good to see that Bremer has confidence that the provisional government will do the right thing and allow us to help them. Sounds like the mission is going fine. |

How about a Voyager Movie

The real mission to to be proactive with the war on terror. We are at war. Iraq is but one theatre in the war on terror and terrorists. We will not acceot the homicide that lives in the west bank in our streets. Gun show guy will start popping off. Don't even think of that crap trying to take hold here. The homicide bombers will never be able to defeat the redneck yanks full of angst. By the way, even the leftists would not tolerate attacks on our soil. |

This does not truly relate to the idea of "mission failure". This is one more way we are trying to let those in the Middle East that might be listening that we're not looking to make Iraq the 51st state. Furthermore, I was watching NBC Nightly News tonight and this subject was reported. It was also reported that France and Germany don't really believe this since Bremer is apparently quietly issuing orders that assure the US military will still be playing a significant role in Iraq even after June 30. Including maintaining control over Iraqi military and police forces... |

Put simply, "No!" Keep dreaming, though. It may happen in some parallel universe. |

I heard last night that Rumsfeld said we will leave if the new Iraqi government wants us to leave. But I was in a store, and heard only one or two snippets of this report. |
