The Sisko,

Whomever said this, I feel very badly (pity, actually) for them. It's so easy to throw stones, and yet so much more difficult to serve others with dignity and integrity.

Well said Fes.

By the way Admiral, how was Mexico? I love the Yucatan, we took our honeymoon there. Did you see some Mayan temples or just chill on the beach with a daqueri?

Hope you had a fun and relaxing time whatever you did. :wave2:

Thanks. :)

Admiral,

And while you're at it, please don't miss the Hutchison question I asked above. Sometimes, things get buried mighty fast....

I don't want to get off on a tangent, but your mention of Texas reminds me of something I've wanted to ask for quite some time. What is your opinion of K. B. Hutchison? (I know, she's not going to switch parties, but I'd be curious to know how she is perceived.)

I like Kay. She's a good Senator and does a good job. She is nowhere near as conservative as me, but who is? I'd call her a good successor to Phil Gramm.

We spent most of it on the beach with margaritas. I was only there for three full days.

Sounds like it was worth it. Glad you did that. Every working person deserves a couple days on the beach.

Admiral,

Thanks. My impression is that she's genuine, and yet a stateswoman (if I may use that term). The few times I have seen her, I have been impressed. :)

If you want a real guess, I'll say John Edwards. No other names have really been brought up at this point and he might be helpful in the South. I can't really see Hillary at the moment, mostly because the race would be to iffy for her. I doubt she would want to risk damaging her political aspirations if she is not certain that Kerry will beat Bush. I could change my mind on this as we get closer to the convention, but I doubt it.
